A new Periphio product, Auxia, marks its entry into the CPG space with a unique proposition that combines modern design, quality audio specs, and RGB lighting to elevate the desktop speaker experience for consumers.

Working closely with marketing strategists, I was responsible for developing the UI for Auxia’s primary sales channel, an eCommerce landing page. This was part of Periphio’s first venture into the CPG industry. In addition, I provided feedback during the logo and packaging creation, served as the photographer for the project, and developed A+ content for other retail media channels like Amazon.

To achieve this, we needed to develop a roadmap, identify all creative and content deliverables, map a process to get those deliverables made, develop wireframes, Photoshop assets for the site, and an interactive mockup of the site to hand off to development. The result was a clean and effective prototype that showcased the product and enhanced the customer experience.

Crafting a Journey of Engagement & Conversion

Project Goal Generate consumer interest through a dynamic mix of email, social media, influencers, advertising, and affiliate marketing. We aimed to lead users on a captivating product journey once they arrived at the eCommerce landing page, educating them about the product’s features and benefits. Through strategically placed call-to-action buttons, and transparent pricing, we created multiple opportunities for users to make a purchase. Our design strategy focused on captivating and educating users, fostering their connection with the product, and seamlessly transforming their interest into meaningful conversions.

Mapping the Journey:
From Sketches
to Structure

 

Wireframes play a vital role in any UI process, and in the Auxia case, they helped me quickly explore visual solutions to the strategic website and retail media goals that had been set. The initial wireframe served as a low-fidelity blueprint, allowing me to sketch out the foundational elements of the landing page. We experimented with different placements of site elements, setting the stage for the design to take shape. Once our team was comfortable with the layout placements, I used the initial blueprint to create a more specific vision for the online content. The high-fidelity wireframe provided a more precise roadmap for the landing page’s visual appeal while helping guide written content and photography placements.

Capturing Auxia:
Framing the Speaker’s
Visual Aesthetic

 

Acting as the photographer for Auxia, I wanted to showcase the speaker’s many marketable features, like its sleek edges, RGB lights, and other intricate details . Once the wireframes were in place it helped inform the photoshoot. The resulting photographs create an engaging visual narrative, inviting viewers to explore the audio experience offered by Auxia. Through meticulous composition and attention to detail, the product photography captures the essence of the brand, setting the stage for an enticing journey into the world of high-quality sound.

Our strategy focused on creating an immersive sales tool for Auxia Speakers, leveraging consumer behavior insights. The landing pages and persuasive content guided users through a captivating product journey, serving as a gateway to an engaging experience. The product photography, informed by the wireframes, brought the essence of the Auxia Speakers to life.

As a culmination of all the separate pieces, we seamlessly translated our ideas into an interactive mock-up. This bridged the gap between design and development, providing a tangible representation of the collective vision. The result is an immersive sales tool that showcases the unique features and benefits of Auxia Speakers, captivating users with visually striking elements and a seamless user flow. My interactive mock-up serves as the foundation for a remarkable user journey, breathing life into our design and setting the stage for a compelling sales experience.
